9 “Healthy” Foods You Shouldn’t Be Eating

#2: Cereal

Cereal is one of those foods where you have to be very careful in terms of the brand and type in order to ensure you’re getting the most healthy type. The good kinds of cereal offer a nice daily dose of healthy fiber, protein and whole grains. But the bad kinds of cereals are loaded with sugar and sodium.

Many cereals start out healthy, but add in extra sugar for flavoring purposes which ultimately makes them an unhealthy choice. Make sure to read the labels carefully and avoid cereals loaded with added sugar. If you’re looking for extra flavor in your cereal, you can add in fresh slices of fruits or nuts.
